In the current situation, when many of us have ample time with us. In addition to spending time with family, we are all talking about the future, how would it be? How would the economy cope, how some industry sectors would be badly hit by the lockdown and the likely changes this crisis would bring? What will be the impact on- Business, Jobs, Economy, etc.

As a behavioral scientist, my interest is in the changes that we as individuals will bring in self.

The current time is reflection time. Have I spent just about 30 mins a day to reflect on the changes that I would like to bring in myself? Or at the end of this difficult period, one would forget it as a fearful dream. One would like to move on and continue life as it had been going on before the pandemic? There may be a situation of scarce resources and opportunities after the pandemic. Will the rat race become fiercer? One would be busy finding one's foot in the new situation and get busy in the usual accumulation of wealth and status? How long will it take to move on? Life continues and so would the world.

The real difference that will sustain with you is the change that you bring to yourself, your beliefs, your thoughts, your approach to living life.

Thus at this point, while each of us is busy with Work from Home/ Work for Home/ Catching up with family / Enjoying the long due need for rest, it is important to steal some time to reflect and be mindful of oneself/ one's thought/ one's goals/ one's drive..basically oneself.

Here are a few questions to support you in your Reflection. It is a proven fact that if you share or declare your learnings and changes driven by those to others, they are more likely to be practiced and thus stay with you. It would be good to hear from your answers to the following questions... maybe each of us would learn from each other.

Please be as honest as possible, even if you are determined to fight the more challenging rat race after the current situation is over, it is perfectly fine. No one is judging you here.

Questions:

1) What have been your key learnings about yourself from the current situation?

2) What are some changes that you would want to bring in your approach to living life if any?

3) How do you see yourself post this pandemic?

I am keeping the questions limited for ease of reflection and answering. If you wish to add more questions, please feel free to do so.

I look forward to reading your responses in a message or as comments to this article. It was a long writeup thus could not put it up as a post.

Cheers!
